Job summary

OnePointe Solutions in Elgin, TX is hiring a Purchasing Agent for full-time on-site work. You will source materials, place purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, parts, and supplies based on job requirements and inventory levels.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors and confirm order accuracy, pricing, and lead times.
• Track and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with vendors regarding delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and project management teams to align material availability with timelines.
• Maintain records in ERP system for all purchase orders and vendor activity.
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest restocking needs.
• Assist with vendor evaluations and maintaining approved supplier lists.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or improved lead times.

Position Summary: We're looking for a resourceful and detail-driven Purchasing Agent to join our operations team full-time at our Elgin, TX headquarters. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing materials, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring materials and supplies are available on time to meet production and project schedules. You'll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and logistics to keep orders on track and costs under control.
