Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist daily Stores Department operations.
• Purchase materials and components for maintenance and other needs.
• Obtain quotes and delivery dates from suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Provide AOG material support to Maintenance department.
• Process purchase orders and track lead times for on-time delivery.
• Maintain reports for overdue PO and repair orders in AMOS.
• Coordinate returns, replacements, or credits for shortages or damaged items.
• Participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and follow SMS guidelines.

Assists in the daily activities and operations of the Stores Department.Purchase materials and components to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and other department requirementsRequests price and availability quotes from safe and reputable suppliers for the best price and delivery dates to meet project deadlinesProvide time-sensitive Aircraft on Ground (AOG) aircraft material support to the USA Jet Airlines Maintenance department.Executes purchase orders or exchange orders and purchase requests timely and accurately, printing all necessary paperwork to accompany orders including request and quoteFollow-up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery within stated lead timesConfirm trace paperwork meets GMM standardsProvide time-sensitive Aircraft on Ground (AOG) aircraft material support to the USA Jet Airlines Maintenance department.Maintains over-due purchase order and repair order reports using AMOS system, contacts vendors as needed to support inventory and operational requirements for USA Jet AirlinesOrders supplies as needed for day-to-day operation of the stockroom as well as additional off-site locationsReview repair quotes from vendors to determine if repair or replacement or part will be more financially economicalCoordinates with vendors for the return or destruction of BER (Beyond Economical Repair) partsBuild relationships with internal departments and outside suppliers while assisting with purchase requests and discrepanciesKeep purchasing area clean and organizedReviews material receiving deficiencies and arrange for returns, replacements or creditComplete all assigned trainingResponsible to actively participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and SMS. Required to report all safety concerns in a timely manner. Required to ensure that they and their co-workers are performing their functions in the safest possible manner.
