Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Service Machinist for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) with training on 1st shift. Pay is $30/hour plus a 5% shift differential. Work on the production floor in Montpelier, IN, with oil, noise, and industrial vehicle exposure.

You will set up and operate punch press machinery, read blueprints, and perform tool changes and maintenance. Overtime may be required and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years in a tool shop environment; machinist experience preferred.
• CNC experience is a plus; ability to read blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch press equipment.
• Plan machining sequences and verify tooling with tolerances.
• Troubleshoot forming problems and perform tool changes and maintenance.

Skills
