Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a manufacturing associate to support metal stamping operations in a fast-paced plant. You will follow safety procedures, complete quality reports, and set up punch presses while performing change-overs and material adjustments.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating forklifts, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Team collaboration and strong attendance are essential as you maintain equipment, assist in CI initiatives, and participate in cycle counting and overtime

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience or 2 years of related experience in lieu of education.
Perform tasks safely (forklifts, hoists, die handlers) in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and routing sheets.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

Complies with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures and wears PPE.
Complete first article inspection reports using inspection techniques and quality tools.
Set up and operate punch presses for metal parts, perform change-overs and material adjustments.
Produce stamped parts within quality and quantity standards per blueprints/route sheets.
Complete required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner (labor cards, production reports, JIT sheets, CI cards).
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Communicate effectively with department teammates to maintain production rate.
Utilize mechanical ability and hand tools to complete daily tasks.
Maintain 6S in work area and participate in CI initiatives.
Perform cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
Possess ability to work scheduled overtime, including weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned.
