Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. in Dixon, IL is looking for a Punch Press Operator on the 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00am–2:00pm) to set up and operate punch presses and related equipment. You will fabricate metal components according to drawings and specifications.

The role requires basic education with a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience). You will interpret drawings, work with hand tools, and ensure safety policies are followed, including DOT/HAZMAT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch presses and related equipment to form metal per drawings.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Use hand tools and raw materials to produce parts.
• Count products and resolve routine questions; refer complex issues upward.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Wear all designated personal protective equipment.
