Job summary

Opifex-Synergy is seeking a Field Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks across construction sites and field locations. You will diagnose technical problems, provide service and customer support during field visits, and produce detailed service reports.

The role requires extensive knowledge of diesel engines, proven field service experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure proper working conditions on the job site or in the shop
• Performs routine equipment clean-up and upkeep as well as safety review and pre-delivery inspections
• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts heavy equipment as required and completes all paperwork on assigned equipment
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
