Job summary

Opifex-Synergy Pump division is seeking a Field Technician to supervise on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment at diverse job sites. You will diagnose issues, determine effective solutions, and provide on-site service and support during field visits and dispatches.

The role requires extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment, proven field service experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair technical equipment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and equipment on-site or in the shop.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections per MSHA/OSHA guidelines.
• Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Complete service reports and update work orders.
