Job summary

Opifex-Synergy Pump division is seeking a Service Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks across diverse job sites. The role emphasizes diagnosing errors, providing timely service, and supporting customers during field visits and dispatches.

The position requires extensive knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment, plus the ability to troubleshoot and repair in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Performs routine equipment clean-up and upkeep as well as safety review and pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions and adjusts heavy equipment as required and completes all paperwork on assigned equipment.
• Participate in all training programs directed by Manager.
• Bring to the attention of the Manager any shop tools, equipment or vehicle that is not in serviceable condition or unsafe to use.
