Job summary

Patterson-UTI in Midland, TX seeks a Pumping Specialist to support pumping operations, develop operating procedures, and ensure job safety on on-site rigs. You will coordinate rig-up and rig-down activities under supervision, interact with customers and third-party personnel, and help keep equipment running smoothly to meet project goals.

This role requires strong knowledge of pump operations, DOT rules, field ticketing processes, and the Journey Management process.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, or applicable oilfield experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in oilfield operations.
• Licenses: Valid CDL A with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type.

Language Comprehension

Must understand and speak English at a level allowing issuance, receipt, and response to safety and operations-related directions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, or applicable experience required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of oilfield experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid CDL A driver’s license with proper endorsements for the type of vehicle operated, issued by the state of residence.
