Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot and service equipment safely and professionally. You will help ensure reliability across customer sites and contribute to ongoing fleet readiness.

Travel to customer sites, document service tasks, and mentor lower level technicians while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
