Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) for its Fluid division. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will travel to customer sites and document service activities, supporting the team and assisting junior Technicians. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of pump maintenance experience, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes and manufacturers.
• Strong mechanical background with engines and pumps.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
• Train lower level Technicians.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed.
