Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot and service equipment at customer sites, and deliver safe, professional service. You’ll also have the opportunity to advance within the Service Department.

You’ll train lower level technicians, document service work, demonstrate equipment to customers, and travel to client locations, with potential for growth in a large, safety-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
