Job summary

RDR Utility Services Group is seeking a Pump Operator to support its Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division. You will rig and operate water transfer pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, and piping to meet customer requirements while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

You will perform pre-inspections, monitor flow and pressures, and keep accurate reports. The role requires adaptability to day or night shifts and a clean driving record, with prior oil & gas water transfer experience

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to work days or nights as required.
• Experience with oil & gas water transfer projects preferred.
• SAFELAND and/or PEC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rig up/rig down water transfer pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, and piping per requirements.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain water transfer equipment and related hardware.
• Perform pre-inspections on equipment before each use and report issues.
• Monitor flow rates, suction/discharge pressures, and impoundment levels.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Identify hazards and communicate issues to management promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and organized jobsite.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and coordinate with team.
• Communicate with management, customers, inspectors, and team members clearly.

Job Summary

• Ability to rig up / rig down water transfer pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, piping, and other related equipment required per Company and Customer requirements.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain water transfer pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, piping, and other related equipment required per Company and Customers.
• Preform Pre-Inspections on all Water Transfer equipment prior to each use and report and issues promptly.
• Monitor pump flow rates, suction and discharge pressures, and AST / Impoundments levels.
• Follow and ensure others adhere to all Company and Customer SOPs.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, hours, and documentation required by Company and Customers.
• Identify job site hazards and/or issues and relay to management.
• Maintain professional company appearance and organized jobsite.
• Communicate and address emergency repairs promptly.
• Communicate directly with management, customers, field inspectors, and/ or others.
• Communicate clearly and work effectively as a team member.
