Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to maintain and repair pumps and related equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and provide safe, professional service at customer sites, with opportunities for advancement within the Service Department.

You will document service tasks, train junior Technicians, and demonstrate equipment to customers while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Safety-sensitive role.
