Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division in Texas. You’ll perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot and service equipment safely while delivering exceptional customer service.

You’ll have the chance to train lower level technicians, travel to customer sites, and grow toward higher level tech roles within our Service Department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation.
