Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe operation for customers.

The role offers opportunities to advance to higher Tech positions within the Service Department. Travel to customer sites and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining documentation and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
