Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division to service and repair pumps at customer sites. You’ll diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

You’ll troubleshoot, train junior technicians, and demonstrate equipment to customers while traveling to sites. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge with various engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
