Ohio Transmission Corporation in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service pumps and rotating equipment. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble components, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.

You will learn through hands-on training, use precision measuring tools, and build strong customer relationships while following safety protocols.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Strong understanding of mechanical fits, tolerances and alignment procedures.
• Coachable and eager to learn.
• Familiar with API, ANSI and OEM standards for rotating equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties under the Shop Manager to align team goals for the day.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analysis on equipment failures.
• Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications.
• Document repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used.
• Perform hydro and paint of repaired and new assembly equipment.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through training.
• Handle emergency service calls to keep operations moving.
• Learn through classroom and hands-on training with experienced mechanics.
• Use computer systems for training, documentation, and communication.

Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22/hr. to $26/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

• Performs duties assigned under the direction of Shop Manager to ensure the team is aligned to the goals and objectives for the team for each day.


• Perform and oversee the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.


• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analysis on equipment failures.


• Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications.


• Ensure proper documentation of repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used.


• Perform Hydro and Paint of repaired and new assembly equipment.


• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.


• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.


• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.


• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.


• Learn through classroom and hands-on training while following direction from experienced mechanics.


• Use and learn computer systems for training, documentation, and communication of work performed.

What You'll Need:
