Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is hiring for a position requiring the inspection of pump components, operation of hand tools, and physical stamina. The role involves removing bushings with a press, deburring as needed, and precisely measuring gear clearance using a feeler gauge.

The work schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm. The position offers competitive pay with opportunities for wage increases after initial periods and a robust benefits package including PTO, holidays, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• Experience using common hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pump for damage and remove bushings using a press; sand burrs if needed and measure gear clearance using a feeler gauge.
