Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect pumps for damage, remove bushings with a press, and finish surfaces by sanding burrs as needed. The role requires standing the full shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using common handheld tools.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with a climate-controlled environment and access to on-site facilities. Company benefits include ongoing wage reviews, PTO after 30 days, holidays, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift.
• Able to use basic handheld tools (hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrench).
• Ability to move and maneuver materials safely in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pump for damage and wear, measure gear clearance using a feeler gauge.
• Remove bushings using a press and sand burrs if needed.
