Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Downtown Medical Group Sleep and Respiratory Suite (Billings, MT). This part-time role supports pulmonary care with 30 hours weekly (Mon-Thu 7:30–4:30, Fri 7:30–12, rotating day off).

You will perform general nursing care in an ambulatory clinic, document health histories, administer medications, and educate patients. Preferred BSN and clinic/triage experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and laws.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors treatment progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical records/forms and systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes.
