Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an outpatient pulmonary clinic assignment in Billings, MT. This part-time role operates 30 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 and Friday 7:30-12 with a rotating day off, at Downtown Medical Group - Sleep and Resp Suite 500E.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, perform nursing procedures, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs and health risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Executes prescribed treatments and administers medications; monitors patient response and progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and care management.
• Documents data using medical records systems and participates in multidisciplinary teams.
