Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Downtown Medical Group – Sleep and Resp Suite in Billings, MT. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate outpatient care, support pulmonary services, and coordinate with physicians and care teams.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. One year clinic or hospital experience is preferred; BSN is a plus. On-site schedule is 30 hours weekly with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• One year of related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and ensures confidentiality.
• Records health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assesses condition.
• Delivers prescribed treatments, administers medications, documents progress.
• Refer to physicians and other providers to prevent/resolve problems.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical records systems and forms.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes.
• Monitors quality assurance data for care management.
