Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Downtown Medical Group—Sleep and Resp Suite 500E. You will perform clinical nursing duties in an outpatient setting, including assessment, planning, and coordination of care with the pulmonary team.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of clinic or acute care experience; BSN is preferred. Work hours are 30 per week, Monday–Thursday 7:30–4:30 and Friday 7:30–12, on-site with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medications, monitors patient response, and consults with physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and condition management.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data in medical records.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
