Qualifications

• Twenty-four (24) months recent and relevant experience.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Current registration or certification in state of practice, specialization or certification in cardiopulmonary clinical area.
• Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Staff respiratory care as part of a pulmonary rehab program and implement the regimen.
• Communicate effectively with rehab team about patient findings and program improvement.
• Develop and adjust exercise prescriptions based on GXT and daily rehab responses.
• Monitor oximetry, heart rate, blood pressure, and telemetry when indicated.
• Document initial and daily assessments in patient records and report changes to physicians.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow ACLS/emergency policies as needed.
