Job summary

Lincare Holdings seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to staff the pulmonary health and rehabilitation program on a full-time basis. You will implement respiratory regimens, support participants, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary rehab team.

The role requires CPR and ACLS certification, state licensure, and cardiopulmonary specialization, with responsibilities including assessment, exercise prescription, monitoring, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of recent, relevant clinical experience.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Active state registration or licensure in practice area.
• Specialization or certification in cardiopulmonary care.

Responsibilities

• Staff the pulmonary health and rehab program as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Implement respiratory regimens and support pulmonary participants.
• Communicate findings and program improvements with rehab team.
• Develop patient-specific treatment plans with the team.
• Conduct initial assessments, orientation, and exercise prescriptions.
• Monitor participants during exercise and manage oximetry, HR, BP.
• document assessments and report significant changes to physicians.
