Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking respiratory care practitioners to staff a pulmonary health and rehabilitation program in Caldwell, KS. Positions include full-time, part-time or consultant basis, with responsibilities spanning program implementation, patient assessment, and education within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have 24 months of relevant experience, CPR and ACLS certification, current state registration or certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Twenty-four (24) months recent and relevant experience.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Current registration or certification in state of practice.
• Specialization or certification in cardiopulmonary clinical area.
• Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement respiratory regimen as part of a pulmonary rehab program.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan treatment and outcomes.
• Communicate findings and program concerns with rehab team.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans with staff.
• Apply exercise science knowledge to a population with pulmonary disease.
• Monitor oximetry, heart rate, and blood pressure during sessions.
• Document initial and daily assessment data in participant records.
• Report significant participant conditions to the supervising physician.
• Initiate ACLS measures and/or emergency care per hospital policy.
• Engage in educational efforts, classes, and participant sessions.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in drills as required.
