Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the St Clair Shores Pulmonary Rehab unit. This part-time role (32 hours per week) is a day shift, with responsibilities spanning diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services, patient education, and equipment support.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Michigan state licensure upon hire, NBRC credential, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire.
• NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or American Red Cross Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to support physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Educates patients, students, staff and physicians involved in Respiratory Care.
• Provides technical support for all Respiratory Care equipment and supplies.
• Assists with general department functions.
