Munson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for the Pulmonary Care unit. This day shift role covers both adult and pediatric patients, with full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily M-Thu and Friday variations.

The position emphasizes comprehensive respiratory care, ventilator management, and participation in pulmonary rehab and diagnostics, within a supportive community hospital system in northern Michigan.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• CRT registry-eligible may enter; RRT must be obtained within 4 months.
• Currently licensed or eligible to practice in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory care for adults and pediatrics, including therapies and ventilator management.
• Assess respiratory status and develop care plans with accurate documentation.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation through supervision and patient education.
• Conduct pulmonary function and diagnostic testing (where trained).
• Assist with cardiac diagnostics and leadership tasks as needed.
