Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Lung Care is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join a physician-led outpatient team in Evansville, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• NP prescriptive authority in Indiana required.
• RN license in Indiana required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient respiratory care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs in a clinic setting.
• Deliver evidence-based diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans.
• Maintain licensure and patient safety standards.

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 patient contact hours/week

Base salary: Salary model with highly competitive compensation driven by experience/specialty tier

CME: $2,500 annual allowance plus 5 dedicated days off for eligible conferences, travel, and licensure

Malpractice: Covered with tail

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of 3 physicians and 1 APP
• Call structure: None
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Access to dedicated clinical support staff, Athena EMR, and 2-3 exam rooms per clinician
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Drive clinical excellence by evaluating and caring for patients with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, including asthma, COPD, and sleep disorders
• Enhance patient access through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based treatment plans in a collaborative clinic setting

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
