Job summary

University of Chicago Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator (RN) in the Pulmonary Hypertension program. The role is onsite 2 days per week in the greater Chicagoland area.

You will coordinate clinical services, care delivery, and program logistics, liaising with patients, providers, and leadership to ensure a seamless patient experience. 0.5 FTE position. Strong communication, organizational, and LMS/education coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Nurse with BSN degree and active licensure.
• 3-5 years' progressive organizational development or learning and development experience.
• Experience in healthcare, education, or biomedical settings preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio, and LMS platforms.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls, triage patient concerns, and manage PH inbox.
• Coordinate PH program activities, education sessions, and seminars.
• Assist with PH medication prior authorizations and enrollment processes.
• Support inpatient parenteral prostacyclin initiation and continuation of therapy.
• Educate patients on home parenteral prostacyclin management and line care.
• Schedule diagnostic testing and maintain PHAR registry.
• Manage administrative tasks to ensure program efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop LMS materials and maintain department web pages.
