Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks a Fellowship Coordinator within BSD MED - Pulmonary - Administrative Support to coordinate fellowship programs in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Interventional Pulmonology. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2–5 years of related work experience.
  • Familiar with Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates fellowship recruitment.
  • Coordinates onboarding/exit for ACGME and non-ACGME fellowship programs.
  • Maintains fellows' training records and mandatory annual trainings (Fraud Awareness, HIPAA, Patient Safety).
  • Manages performance assessments for fellows and faculty in MedHub.
  • Coordinates and updates departmental manuals, databases and information sources.
  • Prepares and distributes correspondence, agendas and reports.
  • Creates clinical training schedules for fellows (inpatient/outpatient).
  • Schedules fellowship and meetings including conferences and committees.
  • Oversees CME processes for programs.
  • Assists with budgeting for education programs and fellow stipends.
  • Ensures compliance with accreditation bodies and program requirements.
