Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist for the Naperville Springbrook clinic. You will perform pulmonary function testing, desaturation studies, and educate patients on management devices.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree and Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license; CPFT/CRT certifications are encouraged, with CPFT due within 18 months. Travel to other sites may be required as part of coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• CPFT certification preferred but not required; CPFT must be completed within 18 months of hire.
• CRT certification required; RRT preferred but not required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Pulmonary Function Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs pulmonary function testing and applies testing protocols.
• Performs desaturation (Simple Stress) studies.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and clean PFT equipment per guidelines.
• Obtain pertinent patient history.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and device use.
• Document work accurately in medical records and department files.
• Precepts new employees and students.
• Participate in audits and protocol development with leadership.
• Adhere to department policies and other duties as assigned.
