Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL seeks a qualified Pulmonary Function Technologist to perform pulmonary function testing and desaturation studies. You will maintain and troubleshoot PFT equipment, collect patient history, and document results in the medical record with accuracy.

The role includes patient and family education, collaboration with care teams, and precepting new staff and students. A degree and IL licensure are required, with CPFT/CRT credentials as assets.

Qualifications

• CPFT certification or registration desired.
• RRT preferred but not required.
• CRT required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Illinois respiratory care licensure required.
• Minimum one year of Pulmonary Function Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs pulmonary function testing and applies testing protocols.
• Performs desaturation (Simple Stress) studies.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and cleans PFT equipment per OSHA guidelines.
• Obtains pertinent patient history.
• Educates patients and families on disease process and device use.
• Documents in patient records and department systems.
• Precepts new employees and students.
• Participates in department initiatives and protocol development.
• Adheres to department policies and procedures.
