Job summary

The Pulmonary Function Laboratory at Froedtert Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include equipment calibration and maintenance, test administration, data management, and report generation.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care, active Wisconsin RCP license, NBRC RRT or CPFT/RPFT within specified timeframes, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program is required.
• Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is required.
• RRT NBRC credential must be obtained within 6 months; CPFT or RPFT within 1 year; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients.
• Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Manage data and generate reports from tests.
• Handle charge entry and supply management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
