Ascension Via Christi Manhattan Hospital is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join an established inpatient team in Manhattan, Kansas. The role involves managing critically ill patients in the ICU, providing pulmonary consults, and building an outpatient clinic from the ground up.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Provide pulmonary & Critical care consultation services in the inpatient setting
Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and multidisciplinary care coordination
Perform pulmonary procedures as clinically indicated, including bronchoscopy and related diagnostic/therapeutic procedures
Develop and build an outpatient pulmonary clinic practice from the ground up
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, lung nodules, interstitial lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, and pulmonary infections
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within electronic medical record

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
