Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Home Medical in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex respiratory needs. This full-time Days position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and supports a dedicated DME Home Care team.

You will perform evaluations, tailor treatments, manage respiratory equipment, and educate patients and families about conditions and community resources.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• NBRC Respiratory Therapist credential within 180 days of hire.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts license required prior to hire.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
