Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO is seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee daily front and back office operations, manage budgets, and ensure outstanding patient service. Ideal candidates have a healthcare office management background, EMR proficiency, and strong organizational skills; bachelor’s degree preferred and Epic/eClinicalWorks experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare office management experience including supervising personnel
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Medical billing experience preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Epic, QHN, eClinicalWorks, MediTech preferred.
• High level of professionalism and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front and back office operations of the practice
• Propose and manage budgets to keep the practice financially sustainable
• Represent the clinic at physician and senior leader-level meetings
• Communicate with the clinic's medical staff, department heads, clinicians and staff
• Ensure successful day-to-day operations of the practice
