Job summary
UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a registered nurse to collaborate with medical staff and coordinate delivery of high-quality patient care across acute and ambulatory settings. You will coordinate resource utilization and participate in patient/family interactions using the nursing process.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Current CA RN license.
- Basic Life Support Certification from AHA.
- All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery of high quality, individualized patient care alongside medical staff.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary referrals using pre-established criteria for quality and appropriateness.
- Perform utilization review functions on the managed population using approved criteria.
- Support the performance improvement process through analysis of patterns and trends.
