Qualifications

• Must obtain permanent RN license within 90 days of graduation.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• WV Grad Permit with permanent licensure within 180 days (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within ambulatory settings based on the nursing process.
• Performs preliminary assessments to facilitate appropriate follow-up with care team.
• Evaluates unstable/complex patient care situations and facilitates intervention.
• Applies independent nursing judgment and coordinates with health care providers delegated care.
• Documents patient data and educates patients and families about health needs.
