Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) for a school-based role in Pulaski, Tennessee for the 2026–2027 school year. The position offers on-site, 38–40 hours per week with compensation of $45–$55 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

The role involves providing ASL-English interpretation across classroom activities, collaborating with the educational team, and supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within the school setting.

Qualifications

• ASL and English fluency with strong receptive and expressive skills.
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, as applicable to TN requirements.
• RID certification preferred.
• ITP or ASL-English interpreting program preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-English interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, Deaf/Hard of Hearing staff, and other school personnel.
• Prepare for content and learn subject-specific terminology to support accurate interpretation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in accordance with district policies.
