Job summary

TheraPeds is seeking a full-time, on-site American Sign Language Interpreter for a Centralia, WA school. You will deliver classroom ASL interpretation and work with a multidisciplinary team to support a student in a 32.5 hour weekly schedule.

The role requires fluency in ASL and English, RID certification or equivalent, and an ITP/ASL-English interpreting degree. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to student success are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in ASL and English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience interpreting in K-12 settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide American Sign Language interpretation for students in classroom settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including teachers and support staff.
• Complete required documentation and planning time as part of daily duties
