The UConn Elisabeth DeLuca School of Nursing is seeking a Publicity/Marketing Coordinator (P3) to tell the stories of the School and its people. You will craft content across news, features, social media campaigns, and promotional materials under the Director of Marketing.
You will write press copy, manage the website, analyze analytics, and develop editorial and marketing plans to elevate the School’s visibility at UConn and beyond.
The UConn Elisabeth DeLuca School of Nursing, recognized among the top nursing schools in the nation, is entering an exciting new chapter. As we prepare to move into DeLuca Hall, our new state-of-the-art home, we are looking for a creative and talented Publicity/Marketing Coordinator (P3) to help tell the stories of our School and the exceptional people making an impact in nursing.
Working under the limited supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Coordinator will create engaging content that brings UConn Nursing to life—from news and feature stories to social media, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and digital communications. This position will work across the School to highlight the accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and programs and help share those stories with audiences at UConn and beyond.
We are looking for a strong writer, creative thinker, and natural storyteller who knows how to turn ideas, accomplishments, and people into stories that get noticed. The hiring range for this position is $60,416 to $65,000. An offer of employment, if made, will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s skill and experience, as determined by the University.

This is a full-time, end-dated position on the Storrs campus with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
Employment of the successful candidate is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check.
