The Strategic Communications & Marketing Coordinator is a campus-based communications professional responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating integrated communications and marketing strategies that advance campus priorities. Working collaboratively with campus leadership, Institutional Advancement, and CT State’s Marketing team, the Coordinator develops engagement strategies that strengthen CT State’s reputation, support enrollment and student success initiatives, promote workforce and community partnerships, and increase awareness of campus programs, services, and achievements.
The Coordinator serves as the campus communications lead and primary liaison to CT State’s Marketing team, ensuring alignment with institutional branding, messaging, campaigns, and strategic priorities. The position combines strategic communications planning, marketing, media relations, content development, social media, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement to support both campus and statewide objectives.
This position will support CT State Manchester, Middlesex, and Asnuntuck campuses.
Under the direction of the Campus President, a Dean or other administrator, the Campus Strategic Communications & Marketing Coordinator is accountable for developing and executing strategic communications and marketing initiatives that advance institutional priorities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, enhance campus visibility, and support enrollment, retention, workforce development, fundraising, and community outreach goals This is accomplished through effective performance in these essential duties:
