Job summary

New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology seeks a leader to run the Publication Sales Office within the Bureau. The role includes overseeing daily bookstore operations, marketing NM Tech publications to university communities and external groups, and managing budgets for printing services.

You will train and supervise staff and coordinate with NMGS. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing, with strong interpersonal, accounting, and supervisory abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing required.
• Strong interpersonal and accounting skills expected.
• Experience supervising staff and training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Publication Sales Office.
• Lead marketing, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
• Budgeting and accounting for publications and printing services.
• Supervise Publications Resource Specialist and student workers.
• Respond to public inquiries about geology resources and state publications.
• Manage NMGS relationship and financial agreements.
