Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Manager of Publications 2 based in Cape Canaveral, FL or Ocean Springs, MS. Lead the creation and delivery of missile launcher manuals and related documents as part of a digital transformation within the Enterprise-wide Engineering team.

You will plan and manage publications programs, drive process improvements, and coordinate with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• 5 years in progressively responsible roles in a technical publishing environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to communicate with all levels and government customers.
• Experience in program management, including budget and cost management.
• Ability to resolve changes in contract funding, terms, and program scope.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, estimate, schedule, and track major publications projects.
• Establish processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products for internal and external customers.
• Oversee personnel administration, department budgeting, and mentoring staff.
• Engage with customers and subcontractors; travel for program reviews as needed.
