Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States (Hybrid) is seeking a Specialist, Publication Management to coordinate publication planning, tracking, and reporting for SCIS publications.

You will support meetings, congress activities, document flow, and budget tracking, working with Publication Managers and external partners. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong project management and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with at least 1–2 years of professional experience in medical communications, scientific affairs, scientific research, or knowledge management is preferred.
• Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly publication team meetings, take notes, and help with agendas and follow-ups.
• Assist with congress planning, trackers, document trafficking, and post-congress materials.
• Manage document flow with internal and external providers, track and report projects and publications.
• Create and maintain Datavision records, track budgets, and support publication compliance activities.
