Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Publication Manager, Senior Specialist to coordinate global publication plans across therapeutic areas. The role leads cross-functional teams and oversees publication activity, ensuring timely, compliant dissemination of scientific data.

The position emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, with guidance from senior publication leadership.

Qualifications

• BS with 5+ yrs, MS, or PharmD with 1–2+ years of experience in scientific discipline, publication management, or related areas required.
• Understanding of the clinical development process, clinical study data and outcomes measures for assigned projects.
• Ability to acquire and maintain thorough understanding of industry and publications standards with respect to authorship, industry best practices, quality and appropriateness of medical/scientific communications (GPP).
• Thorough in-depth understanding of the scientific and medical rationale for assigned projects; stays abreast of new information and changes in the field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of publication plans across therapeutic areas.
• Lead global Publication Teams and manage relationships with internal and external groups.
• Track publication activity and generate stakeholder reports using the Datavision database.
• Ensure compliance with publication policies and industry guidelines; train teams on processes.
• Support budget management and congress plan activities, including speaker travel and manuscript submission.
