Job summary

Inframark is hiring a Public Works Technician to perform grounds maintenance and operate departmental equipment on Fort Benning. The role involves mowing, trimming, planting, and basic facility upkeep as part of a team delivering water management services.

The position requires light to moderate physical work, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work non-standard hours. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and some landscape experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of landscape experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and other grounds maintenance tools.
• Mow and trim assigned property and maintain municipal rights-of-way.
• Plant and fertilize trees, shrubs, and flowers as directed.
• Perform cleaning tasks and basic building maintenance.
• Assist in drainage, signage installation, and roadway maintenance.
