Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Public Works Technician in Bowling Green, KY to perform grounds maintenance and operate departmental equipment. The role includes mowing right of way and maintaining municipal property with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

You will use backhoes, mowers, chippers, and related tools daily, following OSHA/ESG safety rules, while supporting various public works tasks. A valid driver’s license and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Six months landscape experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or vocational training.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment such as backhoes, jackhammers, chain saws, mowers, chippers, and tractors in accordance with safety regulations.
• Mow and trim assigned property, remove brush, limbs and leaves, and clean alleys/rights‑of‑way.
• Plant and fertilize trees, shrubs and flowers; apply weed control as directed.
• Perform cleaning tasks and manage refuse/recycling materials.
• Repair sidewalks/roadways, maintain curbs and road markings; finish concrete as needed.
